The basics in live Ultimate Texas Hold’Em

It’s no secret that there are several different variants of poker games today with various styles of “Hold’Em”. You can, for example, play Casino Hold’Em too. Like in most other poker games you want to aim for the best five-card poker hand since this means you’ll win the pot.

After the bets called ante and blind are placed you will get three chances to raise at certain times during the game. When you’re playing live Ultimate Texas Hold’Em you will only be able to raise once per hand. Players placing ante and blind bet will also get the chance of placing a trips bonus bet.

Play live Ultimate Texas Hold’Em

Ultimate Texas HoldemLive Ultimate Texas Hold’Em starts and you will be given two hole cards face-up while the dealer will be dealt two hole cards face-down. At this time the player may either check or raise. The raise will be a so called play bet and it has to be either x3 or x4 the value of the ante bet. After this the dealer will lay out the flop – in other words three community cards that every player can use. If you didn’t chose to make a play bet before the flop was spread on the table you may do this now with x2 the ante bet value. The next step in a game of live Ultimate Texas Hold’Em is that the dealer will lay out the last two community cards on the table. At this point you will have a third chance to make a play bet if you haven’t already done it. Keep in mind that this is the final chance! If you haven’t made a pay bet by now you must do it now – or fold instead.

Dealer without a qualifying hand

If this happens the players who are in the game will get their ante bets back again. The blind bets and play bets will however be settled according to the payout table – if the hand is better than the dealer’s of course. If the tables are turned and your hand is worth less than the dealer’s you will not get a payout for blind bets or play bets in live Ultimate Texas Hold’Em. Last but not least – if your hand is equal to the dealer’s hand the blind bets and play bets will be returned.

Dealer with a qualifying hand

If you can’t beat the dealer’s hand while playing live Ultimate Texas Hold’Em you will lose the ante, blind and play bets. Player’s hands that beats the dealer’s hand will get their bets settled agreeing with the game’s payout tables. If it happens to be a tie all the bets will be given back with exception for trips bonus bets.
